Explanation

ἐπὶ τῶν πονούντων καὶ οὐδὲν πλέον ἀνυόντων. Ἐπειδὰν γὰρ τῆς νεὼς ῥεούσης ἐξαντλῶσι τὸ ἐν τῇ ἀντλίᾳ ὕδωρ καὶ πλέον εἰςρέῃ, μάτην πονεῖν οἱ ναῦται δοκοῦσιν.
