φασὶ τοὺς Ἀραβίους ἐν ταῖς νυκτεριναῖς φυλακαῖς κεχρῆσθαι αὐλῷ ἐπιμήκει· τὸν δὲ αὐλὸν τοῦτον διαδέχεσθαι ἄλλον ἀπ’ ἄλλου, καὶ αὐλεῖν πῦρ ἀνακαίοντας ἄχρις ἂν γένηται ἡμέρα.
