Explanation

οἱ μὲν ἱερὰν φασὶν εἶναι ἐν Ἄργει ἀσπίδα καθηλουμένην ὀχυρὰν καὶ δυςκαθαίρετον. Οἱ δὲ λόχον φασὶν εἶναι ἐν Ἄργει τῶν πάνυ ἀκμαζόντων νεανίσκων, ὃν Ἀσπίδα καλεῖσθαι.
