Explanation
ἐπὶ τῶν μηδὲν συνιέντων ἡ παροιμία ἐλέγετο, Ἐν λευκῷ λίθῳ λευκὴ στάθμη. Ἐν γὰρ τοῖς λευκοῖς λίθοις λευκαὶ στάθμαι οὐδὲν δύνανται δεικνύναι, καθάπερ ἡ διὰ τῆς μίλτου. Στάθμη δὲ ἐστὶ σπάρτος τεκτονική.
