Explanation

Explanation
ἐπὶ τῶν εὐτελῶν ἡ παροιμία τέτακται. Οἱ Λοκροὶ γὰρ ἀποροῦντές ποτε βοὸς πρὸς δημοτελῆ θυσίαν, σικύοις ὑποθέντες ξύλα μικρὰ καὶ σχηματίσαντες βοῦν, οὕτω τὸ θεῖον ἐθεράπευσαν.
